Konga, a Nigerian online shopping platform wins two awards

Konga, a Nigerian online shopping platform won two awards at the fifth edition of the Marketing World Awards (MWA) which took place on November 7, 2015.
The Marketing World Awards is organized to celebrate the excellence, creativity and achievements of the marketing industry by rewarding outstanding performance across the integrated marketing communication industry.
Konga was named the “Online Retailer of the Year” and its ‘Found on Konga’ Campaign was named “Marketing Campaign of the Year.”
Speaking on the ‘Found on Konga’ Campaign, Konga’s Marketing and Creative VP, Gabriel Gab-Umoden said, “The Found on Konga campaign focuses on customers being able to find whatever they want on Konga, be it emotional or functional needs. Making available a wide range of tangible products on Konga is a means to meeting customers’ other intangible needs like happiness.”
The awards further reaffirm Konga as thought leaders and forward thinking innovators.
At the 2015 Nigerian Customer Service Awards (NCSA), Konga won the award for the “Most Supportive Customer Service Overall in Nigeria.”
Konga, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, sells books, home appliances, mobile phones, groceries, and others on its platform.
